The other night I had my longest LD so far. It was only about 10 seconds, but that compares to about 1-3 seconds for each of my other LDs.
This one though was a strange combination of scary..but not.

In a previous vivid but non-lucid sequence, I had watched a cloud formation build up and form a tornado underneath (I seem to dream about tornadoes quite frequently, but they are often small like dust devils).
Then that scene faded and I then re-formed the dream outside the same building, and as I looked up I could see that the tornado was behind the building because there was a fast-moving, swirling dust storm approaching. I immediately became lucid (knew I was dreaming), but as I tried to get back to the safety of the building I was aware that I was being held back and could not move. within a second or two I was pushed around so I now faced down the garden at the back of the building. It had a high wall all around and tall trees to the left. I then had a super-vivid sensation of being lifted up and propelled forward, like flying, but a sensation of extreme acceleration. As I rose and accelerated I was sort of terrified by what was happening, because it was like it was for real, and as a real experience I knew the likely outcome was not good! But I was also calm because I knew it was a dream. Just before I slammed into the wall at the end of the garden, it also seemed like I was going to fly just over it, but the dream ended and I woke up.

That was certainly some ride!

I just hope I can have some control next time, and a little longer. Any tips about how to do that when a tornado is distracting you?
