      Well, To use a Reality check and for it to actually help you within your dreams to attain lucidity, you must first convince yourself in reality that you really DO NOT know if it is a dream you are in or not. For if you know in the back of your mind; "I'm going to look at my hand, the symbol will be there, signifying i am not in a dream" You will never think to do it in a dream, because your subconscious knows you are in a dream. That being said, for it to truly work i think you mustn't use a alarm, but rather convince yourself that you don't know reality from dream realm and you MUST RC to be able to tell. Thus, the habit will carry over into your dreams because your CONSTANTLY trying to figure out if you are in a dream or not. Personally, i never got anywhere with RC's, don't know why, i guess it just wasn't my thing. I practiced with WILD because I was able to maintain the control over my mind once my body had fallen asleep, which was fascinating to me. Also, WBTB is another great method I used, though tweaked for my own benefits. =P . So in conclusion, I'm going to say that if your going to use that program, you have to truly forget if you are in reality or not for your reality check to work. Who knows, maybe it will help you to a great extent, next thing you know your 'Dream IPhone' will be reminding you to do a reality check, that'd be nice.. lol

      Personally, PIWBTB is easy (Piss induced walk back to bed)

      You just chug a ton of water, take a nap and wake up in the middle of the night, piss then go back to bed. Usually nets me a lucid per night.

      I like to do VILDs. They seem to work well for me, considering 3 out of my 5 LDs were VILDs, if I'm not too tired.

      Välkommen, Marcus.

      First of all, you need to make sure you are good at remembering your dreams.
      This is kind of obvious when you think about it, because in order to experience lucid dreams you need to be able to remember that you had them.
      One very good way to practice this is to write down your dreams in as much detail as you can when you wake up in the mornings, and this will also make you more familiar with what your own dreams usually are like.

      The next step is to learn to recognize the dreamstate;
      one popular way to do this is to frequently ask yourself during the days how you know that you are awake at that point - after all, when we dream we believe that we are awake, so make it a habit to persistently try to prove to yourself that you are indeed awake, and don't just "assume" that you are awake.
      How do you know that you are not dreaming right now, for example?
      Think about this for a while, and don't accept that you are awake until you have thoroughly tested this.
      Also, if you have noticed common events or elements in your dreams, then you can prepare yourself and decide to recognize them as dreamsigns the next time you are dreaming.
      For example, if you often dream about flying then you can tell yourself "next time I'm flying, I will recognize that I am dreaming".
      For best effect, repeat this intention over and over while you fall asleep.
      You can even imagine yourself already in the dream, and vividly pretend that you are moving around in a dream landscape;
      I guess this can be considered a form of VILD - "Visually Induced Lucid Dream".

      Wake-Back-To-Bed can also be a very great aid, and it increases the success rate for pretty much all techniques by a ton, so make sure you check that out as well.
