      Wink Well...Lets try again

      Hi, I'm back!

So...I decided this would be a good time to get myself back in the loop of lucid dreaming.

Its been a while since I even thought about even attempting to become lucid.
The truth is I have been rather ill as I got stricken with sleep apnea due to not breathing in enough air while asleep, I got admitted to hospital for a week where they gave me a CPAP machine, so now I have to wear a mask that blows air into my lungs which to me seems will make becoming lucid a tad more difficult but hey I like a challenge.

I would appreciate some tips for DILDing as I have forgotten stuff. ;D

      Sorry if wrong section.

For DILDing, one of the best things you can do is perform reality checks daily, start a dream journal, and plan out your LDs before going to sleep.

      - Performing RCs will help you naturally assess if you're dreaming or not. Do this often during the day, so that it becomes natural. Common RCs are pinching your nose shut and breathing (I wouldn't recommend doing this while awake if you're on CPAP ); looking at your hands; looking at a clock, turning away, and looking at it again; and one of my favorites, say "If this were a dream, [object] would be [object]" (i.e. "If this were a dream, that phone would be purple")
      - A dream journal will help you see possible dream signs, and assist with recall (Though, as I can see by your 80 entries, this isn't a problem).
      - Planning out the LD will help you achieve what you want. Really try to get into detail with this one - How will you get to the universe you want to be in? How will it smell? Taste? Who will be there? You could also use mantras to help you out. Say to yourself, "When I open my eyes, I will realize I'm dreaming" to yourself all throughout the day. Say it to yourself all day, and think it before you go to sleep at night.

I would also recommend ADA (All Day Awareness) practice.

Hope you have tons of LDs, and welcome back!

      Hey, welcome back!
Think positive and don't think that it will be more difficult. as for tips, to add to what DreamscapeGoat said, mantras and WBTB are great for lucid dreaming, also here are some great tutorials: Induction Methods and Techniques
