On of the best ways to combat nightmares is to - you guessed it - take up lucid dreaming!

Lucid Dreaming will give you a chance to fight back. By realizing it is a dream, you can do two things: either wake yourself up, or falcon punch the fearful monster in its maw. Everything your friend needs to LD is here on this site, and there's a ton of people to help guide your bud down the right path.

      Hope they stop soon!

Believe it or not, having frequent nightmares actually gives you a way to start up lucid dreaming. The main part of lucid dreaming is remembering your dreams, what better way to remember your dreams than to start with a nightmare, If you practice long enough you won't be scared by most things in nightmares, like me, I was always afraid of zombies and ghost but now with lucid dreaming, I just spawn myself a gun and shoot them.
