Unhappy My Parents don't let me sleep, can't practice Lucid dreaming in peace

My parents are getting on my nerves. they just don't sleep and they make lot of noise. They wake up at 4 am too and start talking to eachother nonstop and it's all audible from my room because that's how the walls are.

Anyways i'm hating it. They watching loud tv at night till 11 or somthing, then they get up at 4and start talking.

I want to sleep from 9 or 10 to 6am. I even have trouble sleeping because of health problems and once i wake up i can't go back to sleep easy. Then on top of that they start talking at 4am so i'm not gonna be able to get good enough sleep. I hate it.

But i guess that's how it is. Now i k now why monks(and tibetan monks and stuff who practiced lucid draming) have Temples and stuff and they can have silence. They can have Silence!!! Here in this modern world nobody cares about silence.

I can even hear loud trucks at night with THUMPING loud music at 12pm and stuff in my neighborhood.

Have you said to your parents that their sleep schedules and lack of consideration are causing you stress. Maybe a mature conversation with them, asking them to maybe stay quiet in the mornings, might help?

Try using something in your room to generate noise to counteract the other noise if possible. A loud-ish fan or an MP3 of a fan, rain, a creek, ocean, etc. White noise is good for that. It probably won't block everything out but it might help take your focus off it.

Hmm. I had similar problems...struggling to sleep and recall dreams well was bothering me so much that I actually bought a white noise machine to block out noise. It works surprisingly well. While it doesn't block out everything, it does block out at least some things and helps to have a constant sound to focus on So I'd definitely suggest that, if you can get one, though an MP3 with headphones would probably work just as well if you can sleep with them on. Earplugs also work for some people.

this usually works, when my roommates are loud and i'm trying to sleep i have a fan beside my bed that i turn on and it drowns out their noise somewhat. also you might consider sleeping with earplugs in. if those don't work you could put as much clothing and bedsheets and whatever you can infront of the walls and that should absorb some of the noise still making it into your room, however that could be negligible. it seems to work for me.
