Why am I waking up after every LD?

So I just took a 2 hour nap and had about 10 LDs. Just a rough number because I had a lot. The reason I had a lot of LDs is i seem to wake up a little after I become Lucid. I know that your suppose to stabilize the dream by realising the dream world , turn around yourself , smell stuff and touch stuff and I tried all of that. But no matter what I do I wake up. Its so annoying. My technique relies on RC btw. I look at my hand to become lucid and thats pretty much all I do.
      Any ideas?

I would guess that you are afraid of waking up at any moment, because those kinds of thoughts can often wake you up.
Instead, try to relax and explore the dreamworld, but at the same time calmly remind yourself that you are dreaming.

Like Laurelindo said, focus on the dreamworld, not on the real world. I've had similar problems before and found that pulling my attention to the dream and not being aware of the real world (although of course, being aware that I'm dreaming) has definitely helped. The point of stabilization is to truly grasp the world around you so you stay focused in it.

Also, tell yourself you won't wake up, you're in charge of your dreams, you wake up when you choose to. Get the idea in your head that nothing in the dream can happen without your consent. Autosuggestion is the best way to go about this I think, really, since it sounds like you waking up is a result of a fear of you waking up--and you know how dreams work: expectations influence absolutely everything. Start expecting, truly expecting, that you won't wake up (or only will when you want to), and you should see some better results.

If you do wake up, the best thing to do is just DEILD back to sleep and continue with the dream (probably what you've already been doing). DEILD chaining can be pretty cool, since you get to chain LDs over and over through the night.
