Thread: Confusion about a dream I had

Hello, everybody. It has been a long time since I have posted on Dream Views, as I got out of lucid dreaming for a while because I was having no success. Just to let you know, this will most likely not be a short post. Anyways, along with the question! (You can skip to the next paragraph if you don't want to read about my dream).

So this morning, I had a nap. I went to sleep at 12:30 AM and awoke from a dream at 12:48 AM . I am having confusion as to whether this dream was actually a dream or imagination, or if I was lucid in it or not. To put this dream shortly, I was at a school that was kinda like the one that I go to, but it was way bigger and had different parts. I was out by the bike racks and I saw a person that I knew. He had red skin, and when I noticed that, I became "lucid". I felt a huge gust of air and it brought me to the ground, and I felt a really strange feeling in me, like I was really excited. After that, I explored around the school for a while. But that feeling of "lucidity" felt kinda like what I've heard, and I felt like I had conscious control in the dream. I think it might have actually been a Layer 0 dream, because I'm not sure if I had any control over the dream. I tried changing somebody's appearance by willing it when I looked away, but it changed to somebody else's.

Anyways, the point about this post is asking if there is any way to determine if it is lucid or not, other than the feeling you had. I don't think it was my imagination because I felt way rested after it, and it was only 18 minutes of sleep. Sorry that it was really long, and thank you if you answer
