Thread: Anyone here had OBE?

I was laying in my bed aware, I could tell when trance started because of the buzzing sound in my head, exactly like once before I had while ago. In my mind I wished to sit up like you supposed to to start OBE, and to my surprise I actually felt in a phisical way that I am getting up but in the same time I felt my body not moving and stil laying in the same way. Unfortunately this is as far as I went, for two reasons, I was to excited and secondly it was in the morning and loud noise outdoor has distracted me.

It hooked me up now so I am trying every night, I know it will be hard to make it happen but I want it badly.

Have you ever had OBE? Is it as they say that you can float around the real world and see reality from the (ghost perspective) or it is just another type of LD. I am curious about how true are the stories.

I can't say I've had an OBE. Your experience does sound interesting though.

OBE is another type of LD. To enter a dream without loosing consciousness, do the WILD. It is similar. check the DVA or wiki to see tutorials about it.

I think I actually am doing wild. I try it upon awakening. I like this technique seems to be working good for me.

For last few days I've been working on night shifts so I couldn't train my sleeping but funny thing happened, this morning I dreamed about getting into the trance state with all the buzzing and so on

That is a good sign!
It means that that exercise transfered to the dream, but you want something else to transfer, like RC. So, do RC frequently, and use intentions("next time I'm dreaming I will do RC") and it'll be a peice of cake. Just be patient untill it gives the effect. Also, if you do, during this exercise, have a dream about LDing, then you are close, and maybe a little more concentration then will get you there!
