How will drug use affect lucid dreaming?

Okay if someone were to have a few days of heavy drug use would it affect dreaming for a while? For example if someone were to have 6 days like this:

      Day 1: heaps of pot
      Day 2: MDMA
      Day 3: MDMA
      Day 4: LSD and pot
      Day 5: MDMA
      Day 6: pot

And then they didn't really remember any dreams for about a month would the the two be related?

Yes, it most definitely will effect dreaming. However, I don't necessarily think that the M Is a large contributor to dream recall abilities and also the lack of. For instance, people usually experience vivid thoughts being projected into there minds in the form of pictures/colours etc, when coming down from a night of M. And also experience extremely vivid dreams and recall upon awakening. However, it really depends on your level of mental fatigue as well. If your rolling hard for a good couple nights, don't expect anything major dream wise as your body/mind are tired.

As for LSD, I don't really know. I know with most psy's, personally, they have a positive impact on my dreams and recall abilities, probably from a exponential increase in consciousness and imagination. However, mental fatigue again, can become a large factor in regards to dreaming.

As for weed, copious amounts of it can have drastic effects on vividness and recall. Either positive, or negative. People experience vast deferences though, usually resulting in a majority of people experiencing failing recall abilities.

Lastly, if it is you or your friends going on this adventure, stay safe and don't over do anything.

I would venture a guess that committing slow suicide via drugs doesn't make for pleasant dreams.

Don't be stupid, nonsense like that adds nothing to this thread.

I don't know why this person didn't experience dreams for a month afterwards, that sounds like a long time. Was this person trying to recall his/her dreams?

If the two were related it would be because of the mdma, which I believe depletes the brain's serotonin.
Serotonin is converted to melatonin in the brain, and melatonin plays a large part in regulating sleep cycles and dreams. If you did not have enough serotonin in your brain after the mdma a good way to restore it is 5-HTP supplements. You can buy these at most pharmacies or even grocery stores I believe. Other people recommend taking the supplements for maybe a couple weeks after taking mdma. If you do this research it first.

Anyone loading up on ecstasy, pot, and LSD for 5 days in a row is in serious trouble. Do you think acting as if this is normal behavior, and then offering brain chemistry advice is smart?
