Hi! So I will tell you what happened last night In the evening my phone battery was low so I put it to recharge then I went to sleep. I dreamed that I`m at shool playing on my phone and suddenly my battery went to a low level of energy and I was like ''What the hell? How the battery is low if I put it to recharge last evening? and why I am at school if last evening when I put the phone to recharge it was friday? it should been passed two days untill I go again to school. I had plans for the weekend...'' (for a strange reason I thought that Its friday, don't ask why, I don`t know). And then I got lucid : ''Well lots of strange things are happening, I must be lucid!''. I lost lucidity very very soon, like 30 sec later but it doesn not matters. The thing is that a few nights ago I dreamed that I`m fighting with a dragon driving a car (even if I don't have a driver license yet) and did not realised that I`m dreaming and now I realised that I`m dreaming by seeing that the battery of my phone its dead, and by the way I did not practiced ADA or RCs during the day. Pretty weird stuff. Its just me or others went trough this too ) ?

Well the fact that lucid dreaming is on your mind, that alone could heighten your chances of becoming aware while dreaming.

yeah I think this is true. I think that I daydreamed pretty much about lucid dreaming yesterday..

Sometimes we realise we're dreaming over the most tiny things yet sometimes we miss the most blatant signs. Keep practicing mate :-)

Sometimes it's the subtle things you notice that make you lucid, not the big obvious things. That's why, when you look over past dreams to find dreamsigns, you look for the things that recur most often, not the most obvious. So dreamsigns tend to be familiar things like friends, family members, pets, school, cellphones or computer not working, and so on. It's interesting that, as you were becoming lucid, part of your thinking was remembering what day it was and that you had plans for the weekend. Triggering memory seems to be a big booster to DILD. In fact, that's the essence of MILD. In MILD, you don't recognize the dream, you remember to question the dream.

Yeah that`s true either ) Once I tried MILD, it worked but I soon forgot that I`m trying to MILD and it become a normal dream because I didnt was fully aware of what I wanted to do.

Yes it is about the memory. The fact that you dreamed of your battery dying means your memory was "on". It is the expectation part of the fundamentals. The action of charging your phone bcz your battery was dead "leaked" to the dream causing your memory to be active. When you see a dragon you don't become lucid bcz your memory is "off". You can also practice self awareness to turn the memory on. Also, you can use any expectation you like, like imagining you are in hawaii, and if you dream of being in Hawaii, you will be turning your memory on and become lucid.
