So close to lucidity!!!

Hello Ladies And Gentlemen

How have we been?

I haven't been active in a long time due to many phenomenal changes in my life, the past year and a bit has been a absolute blur. But i have been keeping track of my dreams here and there but nothing from what i used to. Then suddenly the most amazing thing happened the other night i saw this incredibly gorgeous girl in my dream. I was walking next to her talking about this and that but i felt jarred somehow like i couldn't 'pursue' her then suddenly it clicked, i randomly screamed "THIS IS MY DREAM I CAN GET HER IF I WANT!!" suddenly i felt emptiness in my stomach and the world around me felt 'detached' for the lack of better word i looked around and everything began to feel as if i was waking up but i wasn't waking up.

This has happened a few times with numerous dreams, i get the sensation that im waking up and that im in bed when really im still in the dream state its quite annoying because of how close i've actually gotten to a Lucid.

Hey, glad that you decided to be active again. And congrats on keeping track of your dream.

And I believe, that you have achieved lucidity.

- this is a lucid dream, when you realize you are dreaming.

As long as you stay in a dream, despite of a feeling of waking up, all is good. Dream maybe just fading away a bit. Try to anchor yourself in it by touching anything that's nearby, smelling the air, stomping your feet, eating something... The point is to engage your senses, become involved in a dream. But as long as you believe that you are in a dream and not waking up, you are ok. Good luck and happy dreams

Ill defiantly make sure to seize the nearest object in my next dream i appreciate the tip
