Thread: Long time Lucid Dreamer, first post, interesting Lucidity Moment

Hello, first I'd like to introduce myself, my name is Brian and I've been experimenting with lucid dreams for about half my life roughly 15 years. About five nights ago though, I had one of the strangest lucid dreaming sessions ever. Not for the sake of what happened in the dream, but for how the lucidity initialized.

So I was dreaming, nothing out of the ordinary. When during a sequence of the dream I was running and doing some rather fancy parkour type maneuvers. Somebody in the dream ask me how I did that, and all I could reply is that I wish I could do this in real life not just when I'm dreaming. At that moment I realized I was dreaming and that I could take complete control of it. The first thing I always do whenever I'm lucid dreaming is concentrate on flying and it just happens. From that point on it was a rather short lucid dream but an interesting way to kick it off, per se.

Anybody else have a lucid dream start like this?
