      DILD and False Awakenings

After 2 1/2 weeks I had my first LD on the 17th. It was during a nap, and was a DILD. I also had a false awakening halfway through the dream that continued back into an LD. Today during a nap I had my second LD! This time it started completely from a False Awakening and into a DILD. (I've started writing my lucids in the dreamviews Dream Journal)

Is it too early to tell if False Awakenings coupled with DILD is my perfect method of having lucids? Both lucids have been during afternoon naps and have contained a false awakening and was a DILD.

Also how do you guys like or dislike False Awakenings? I find that I've started to really love them, because upon "waking up" in my dream I'm much more likely to question odd things in my environment because I genuinely think I'm awake instead of dreaming.

False Awakenings are both infamous and praised - terrible for beginners, fantastic for those more experienced.

It seems a teence bit too early to really say that your method is 'perfect' - do more tests. It's great that it works for for, but you should gather more information before being completely reassured.

      'Grats on your lucids, too!

I suppose perfect was too strong a word, yeah. What makes you think False Awakenings are bad for all beginners though? During my very first and second lucids I had false awakenings and was able to handle them fairly well.

When you start out, it's a bit harder to catch them - building up habits can take a while. Not everyone is at the same pace as everyone else.
