Did I just subconsciously try to stop myself?

I think I've had 2 WILDs this morning.. but one of them ended before it could take off, strangely too.
I was laying in bed when I suddenly got the usual buzzing sensations. My body felt light but I was afraid to move because I knew I would accidentally move my physical body.
After a few moment of thinking what to do, I hear a voice saying "isn't it awesome that you could just roll out to the side and go on an awesome adventure?" Naturally, I followed the advice, of course, how could I forgot about the roll out technique.

As I was rolling to the left I nearly reached the wall and started to pass through it, when I heard my father call me.. I "woke up", he was in my room, and asked me what size some video game was. I got so frustrated because I thought he ruined my attempt to WILD, I told him to check Wikipedia like everybody else and leave. Then I woke up for real.. My dad didn't wake me up to ask me anything, he wasn't even in my room today at all.

Why did I dream of him interrupting my WILD? Did I subconsciously try to stop myself or at least put an obstacle in the way? Why would someone who puts a lot of effort and energy into LDing do that?.. Fortunately after I woke up I remained unmoved and quickly had a successful WILD but still..

It could be that subconsciously you were expecting something to interrupt your WILD (maybe a little worried) and you subconscious obliged by supplying an interruption.
      Total LDs (some very brief) = 2004: 4 * 2005: 18 * 2006: 16 * 2007: 2 * 2008: 0 * 2009: 0 * 2010: 1 * 2011: 12 * 2012: 3 * 2013: 1 * 2014: 6 * 2015: 1 * 2016: 0 * 2017: 18 * 2018: 3 * 2019: 0 (so far)

Oh, that makes total sense actually. I did expect something to interrupt, but never expected to actually manifest it myself.
      Thanks for clearing it up.
