Subconsciously induced lucid dream description(3 Lucids this week!!)

Ok so this may already be out there but i still wanted to post this because it helped me a lot. I was reading some articles about how to talk to your subconscious mind. I found that the subconscious has no understanding of the past or present and only thinks in the future. To speak to your subconscious to change a personality trait or feeling you must repeat the desired feeling throughout the day essentially getting your subconscious to memorize this trait. For example if you are afraid to approach groups of people, you would periodically throughout the day and before approaching a group, tell yourself in a convincing and positive manor that you are good at talking to people and should have nothing to worry about. Then visualize you approaching the group with a positive outcome. The idea is that if you rationalize with your subconscious you will be more likely to convince it that what your telling it is true. Using visualizations strong feelings like happiness and repetition will further enforce the idea into your subconscious mind. I then thought about how this could be applied to lucid dreaming. Before bed or whenever you remember tell your subconscious that you have all the skills you need to lucid dream. Tell it that with the skills lucid dreaming is easy. Then convince yourself you are dreaming this very moment. Go through the acts you usually go through(reality checks dream stabilization.) show true and honest excitement that you achieved a lucid dream and then think about what you want to do know that you are sure you are dreaming. I have tried this method for almost a week now and it seems to be working well i have had 3 short but promising lucid dreams this week! Before using the method i hadn't had a lucid dream in months and i had been using all the most popular methods. I couldn't understand what was wrong. I think that this method worked well for me because dreaming is a subconscious activity so interacting with your subconscious in this way will help you achieve lucidity better compared to other methods like reality checks which rely on the conscious mind. Tell me if any others have used this method already. I hope i helped explain the method well enough!

      Update!!
After further use of this technique i have learned better ways to use this technique. In the morning after i have a lucid dream, i tell myself how easy it was and how positively it effects my life. How i can trust the techniques i use to work. That i can trust my subconscious to help me dream. How i mastered lucid dreaming. Etc. you can use anything. Then during the day, whenever something out of the ordinary happens i will tell myself "i am dreaming!!" I try to completely convince myself that i am dreaming and i recreate the feeling of excitement that i get when i do lucid dream. Then i do my dream stabilization technique which is rubbing my hands together while looking at my hands and i repeat i am dreaming in my head. ( if i am with a group of people or have attention on me i will skip this part for obvious reasons) then i do reality checks to determine wether i am dreaming or not. Finnally i meditate before bed. Once i get deep i to meditation and my mind is clear i repeat to myself as i inhale, i am dreaming! and when i exhale i say this is a dream! Then before bed i think about the techniques i will use to lucid dream usually i use WILD i visualize myself waking up and go over what i need to do for the technique to work. Then i tell myself phrases like i can lucid dream I can't wait to lucid dream tonight or i am dreaming until i drift off to sleep. Usually i wake up by myself in the middle of the night to WILD without using an alarm just because of the suggestion and visualizations. This further strengthens my belief in this technique and the abilities of working with my subconscious to achieve lucid dreams.

Very cool! I will have to do this on top of my current reality checks. I find that the most powerful tool is meditation though, and talking to your subconcious that way. If I can peel away all my layers and reach my subconscious during meditation, I can then repeat things like "I always lucid dream", "I am a great lucid dreamer", "I have great control of my dreams", "I will lucid dream tonight", "I am lucid dreaming". I basically Inception myself into having lucid dreams. I have had 3 Lucids, all after a day or two of meditation with binaural beat meditation songs on youtube, and two of them were longer than 5 minutes.

      Check it out!

This looks interesting! Is it better to do this just before going to bed or does it make no difference? Also, how long would you recommend trying to "rationalize" with my subconscious?

I would recommended using this technique before bed and also a few times during the day.it would also be a good idea to do it right after a successful lucid dream.A few minutes per day of rationalizing with your subconscious is good use short clear reasons and sont use to many words. Using this method during meditation will also improve your success but is more difficult and time consuming.

I will TOTALLY do this... if I can remember to. Seriously though, this sounds like a really good method, especially combined with the usual awareness and RCs!

This sounds like a subset of the MILD method, I'm glad it works for you.

I like the idea of the affirmation after waking from a lucid dream, of how easy it was to do. It's a very nice idea.
