Cool Mixing Dream Body Senses With Real Senses after waking up?

Hi guys i've meet a weird yet interesing thing
I was tryin to W.I.L.D but i think i've unfortunely fall asleep
I might've been in lucid dream but in dream probatly i didn't cared about it being dream or not because i didn't thinked about lucid dreaming etc. after WBTB at all

      Here's how stuff started:
      Went to bed
I've started to see random shapes
      Feel asleep i guess
I've spawned at some military training camp
I was holding a cup with green tea
Went at the higher grounds a little far away from camp
When i've climbed on higher ground a dog barked at me
I've got quite scared and started to run from him while trying to not spill tea
      Then i've woke up
And a quite weird yet amazing thing happend
I've woke up but i've still sensed cup of tea in my hands it's weight, shape and i could touch it around also
But when i've standed up from bed it wasn't there

It's like my dream senses were mixed with real body senses
I wonder if anybody else has meet smiliar phenomens or if there is name for such thing if it happens
      - Cheers

You know maybe it's possible. The other day I dreamt I was swimming in a cave and the water was dirty. I could taste whatever was in the water in the dream and then when I woke up, it seemed like the taste would come back to me every few hours.

Im not certain on this by any means, but i wonder if it was related to how you were laying and how your hand was positioned. Ive read things before about beginner lucid dreamers who have had invisible hands on their dream body, and its been put down to how they were laying in bed. They for example could be laying on their hands or have their arm underneath them awkwardly and wouldnt be getting much circulation, therefore their brains would let them see or feel their arms properly in their dreams.
I wonder if yours was a similar cause, maybe you'd been sleeping with your hand kinda curled up. Your brain explained it in your drean by putting a cup of tea in your already curled hand. When you woke up your hand had been in the position for a long period of time, and would feel natural in that position. Following?
Just like when you fall asleep with your head too far back in a chair, once you wake up its aches, it is sore to move forwards again, and for a while feels more comforatable to lean back to how you fell asleep again.
That is only my theory but a lot of things can creep into your dream from the outside world.
Think about an alarm clock going off, if you dont wake up straight away, you'll probably notice it in your dream as a siren on a passing police car or a telephone box randomly ringing. What about when you need the toilet whilst asleep, your mind often takes you to a public toilet in your dreams to empty out (often with loads of people around, i dont know why.)
But thats my reasoning anyway, hooe that helps. :-)

not sure if you consider this the same thing, but seems similar to something that happened to me once. Was in a dream when i could hear something loud outisde in waking life and so i sort of woke but then moved back into the dream, and as i carried on the dream i begun a conversation with someone when the sound from waking world would persist and so I would pause the dream until it stopped as i couldnt hear what the DC was telling me, all the while i could feel my body in bed, and could pause and even rewind the dream. It wasn't as if i was controlling what the DC was going to say after every pause or rewind, the conversation naturally carried on.

It is called Hypnopompic Hallucinations. I have this happen to me often when I am very stressed. Here is something I posted on another thread:

I will be dreaming, then I open my eyes and I can see parts of my dream layered over the real world. My mind then adjusts so the dream and the real world interact. Sometimes I am sleep walking when this happens. Typically this only lasts from 5 to 30 seconds before the dream fades away and I am fully awake.

Actual Example 1: I’m dreaming about rats. I open my eyes in real life and one of the rats is sitting on top of my blankets on my bed; it quickly scurries under the blanket but I can still see it moving under the blanket; I jump out of bed and fling the blanket up so I can kill the rat. The rat fades away.

Actual Example 2: In my dream I am driving on a snowy night, when my car begins to slide toward a tree. I sit up and open my eyes in real life. I can still see the tree and I still appear to be sliding towards it, but I can see my bedroom all around me as well. I am jerking my right leg up and down trying to apply the dream break. Then the tree fades away.

My poor wife. I can’t tell you how many times I have scared her nearly to death doing this.

Similar thing happened to me, I was in my dream on my iPad and I woke up, still felt the iPad in my hands but when I started moving them it went away, it was a normal dream though.

Lucid dreams make your dreams come true!!

That's some cool stuff! I've had dreams where I reached for something, grabbed it, went back to grab some more but was stopped by something. When I had awoken I was grabbing my wall. Your dreams and memories truly are amazing things.
