      1st Lucid Experience!

      Alright so last night/this morning i had my first lucid dream experience;

      I was dreaming when all of a sudden it was as if i my conciousness had woken up and i was thinking but dreaming.. because of this i obviously realised i was dreaming, i felt a surge of.. well i dont even know what - i'm sure those who lucid dream know what i'm on about but afraid of waking up like i have done previously i just let my self stay dead still for a moment. i had my eyes closed and i remember hoping they were my "dream eyes" so i opened them and i was in my bedroom and it was dark so i concluded i had woken my self up. so i went "back to sleep". turns out i woke up again later and being truly awake it was then i realised i had had a false awakening! so this was a good and bad experience in way. just looking back i wish i had done a reality check when waking up.

      Probably boring to read but i just wanted to tell my experience to someone aha. Also is their anyway to increase the chance of realising you are dreaming aside from doing regular reality checks? i see my self probably having more luck with this method than WILD.

      cheers for reading any replies or tip and what not would be sweet

      George

      Dang, those slippery FAs! You should probably get into the habit of doing a reality check every time you wake up, as FAs may occur more often. If you don't want to open your eyes for RCing, try levitating off the bed or do a quick nose pinch. Another way to have a higher chance of getting lucid is this: http://www.dreamviews.com/induction-...kingyoshi.html

      You pretty much stay aware during the day and not 'daywalk', because most people don't really question their reality. It also helps with dream recall!

      Hope this helps!

      Congrats on your lucid!

      And yes, RCing every time you get up from bed is a great way to get into practice of doing it in your FAs. Happy dreams
