Angry Can Anybody tell me what I'm doing wrong?

So I have been trying to lucid dream for about 60 days as of today and I haven't been so lucky(3 Lucid dreams, none with in past 25 days). Ive told all my friends about lucid dreaming and they are getting it right away. Right now I do 10-12 reality checks during the day and have OK dream recall, I can remember 1-2 of my dreams every night. I have a normal and regular sleep schedule and have no problems falling asleep. I keep a dream a journal to remember my dreams in the morning and I make decently good entries to it every morning. Ive been trying for so long with depressing results.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

      Thanks

I'm still working on my journey to lucidity, too, but I now realize that a big part of lucid dreaming is awareness. I tried hard to LD for a month or two with no luck. Awareness was the one thing that I was lacking. I think it's important to become self-aware, aware of the world around you, and of yourself in the world. By doing this, you can more easily realize that you are dreaming and that the dream world looks odd. It seems like a lot of people have had success by learning to become more aware, but it takes a lot of dedication and time.

(This one's a lot to read but I feel like it's worth it.)

I hope you can find them. I can't post links because I'm too new to this site.
And I really hope that it works for both of us!

Try to not be concerned whether you're succeeding or not. This will only make it harder on yourself. Instead, focus on gaining experience and learning more about various lucid dreaming techniques.

Try to learn what works best for you through the trail and error of different techniques. Only stick with methods that you find work consistently for you with an increase of recall or in-dream awareness. The more you learn about and apply what works, the more you'll improve. You can also improve by avoiding things that consistently don't work or otherwise harm your lucid dreaming ability.

So, in your case, try finding a better way of doing reality checks and/or try another technique to see if it works better.

Sounds pretty good to me honestly, people are different, some get it right away and others take months. You've already had three in two months so that averages to 1 and a half per month. I've just gotten back into working on it since February and only had 1 per month until recently I had two for May. It'll get better, just keep at it and expect success, but don't get frustrated if it's not happening as fast as you'd like.

make sure your reality checks are extremely mindful, just not quick little jibber jabbers
