      All Day Awareness or RC

Summer is approaching and will be here in 3 weeks. My goal is to have at least one ld before them and was wondering if I should use ADA or RC? I always seem to forget to do a RC and do it at random times during the day. If I should do RC, which ones and what time do I do them?

      Thanks for anyone who responds

You should do both for the best results. I personally do both SAT (Puffin's DILD Guide - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views) and reality checks. When I'm being aware, I couple it with a few RCs and say a mantra. Of course this is just how I do it. RCs can be good on their own but you still need the awareness as you're doing them, otherwise you'll most likely do one in a dream and not get lucid.

I recommend the nose-pinch one as that almost never fails, and it's quick and easy to do. Looking at your hands is also effective; they can be distorted or look strange in a dream. As for which times to do them: it can be any time you remember to do RCs or if you see something strange. You could also do it after an action, such as walking through a door.

      Also: welcome to Dream Views!

      Thanks!
Been a visitor for awhile and decided to join. I've had semi lucid dreams but they were not vivid at all and I lost lucidity in them

Definitely both. It can be difficult to remember but once you do it consistently for a while you will start getting results. I've only been doing it for a little less than a week and my dream awareness is already heightening. You should give it at least a month though, it takes a while for your brain to get accustomed to something and keep it in mind.
