Talking Can I Write Down Story Ideas For Lucid Dreams and Actually Act Them Out In The Dream

Haha okay I know that the question wasn't written very clearly so let me verify. I took the advice of a lot of people who said that I knew to much information on the subject of LD and that I should read Stephen LaBarge's book. I have to say it is a very long book but very informational, i'm still reading it. So I took a break from Dreamviews and all its information but I have had this question and I have been dying to ask it. So can I like write down dreams that I would like to have and then have a lucid dream and act those stories out. I still haven't been able to achieve another Lucid Dream since my first one but I'm not giving up not again I am trying my very hardest. But while i'm waiting for my brain to allow me to have a lucid dream I've had ideas on what i'm going to do when I get one at last. So can I do this?? I know this is very repetitive probably even some grammatical errors I apologize for this in advance I just don't want to put to little information so that you wouldn't be able to answer my question. Thanks so much!!

If you believe you can do it, then you
Can. Almost everything is possible in a lucid dream

      You can, actually.

There's an entire chapter on it in Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming, though you may have noticed it as being schemas and such. Even so, the concepts there can be applied to your own goals and wants in Lucid Dreams.

As for writing them down before hand? That's actually a key role. That means you're motivated. You have intent. The more defined, the better. As long as you have the will, and want, then it's possible. It's essential to want to act out your scenes, because that will play a role into developing dream control. Doing it before hand will help you improve this much more quickly (at least in my opinion) because you've set up and clearly defined an exact goal or something you want to happen. It's all about want and will.

Keep in mind, however, that the method that you use will affect whether or not you will start off in that dream scenario. Although your will will be there, it could easily be lost in the transition to sleep if you're doing a MILD or DILD, while with a WILD (at least from my experience), since you're directly transcribing that thought into the forming world, it will more than likely start off the way you want it (for the most part).

Also, when writing down your little plot, be sure to be as defined and exact as possible, and maybe experiment with length of what you're writing. Although I've personally never done anything like this (I prefer to go along with the dream), I would assume you would want to be concise, but not be so brief that there's also little outside of the first scene. Keeping it too long, however, I would assume would cause you lose some of that in transition. I wouldn't know. I'm not an expert in this, but I can guess, I guess.

Yeah, it's called dream incubation. You can create it focus on it and imagine it and set the intention in your mind that you will dream about it. You don't even have to be lucid to have the dream in your setting you made up. Ever watch shows or play games or anything like that then have dreams about them? Kind of similar to that but you are intending it.

Maybe you could write it all out and read over it over and over before you go to sleep. Or meditate and imagine yourself being there.
