Dream of WILD induced lucid dream?

Ok so I've had this happen twice in the past two days. And it has produced 2 of my 3 total lucid dreams so I'm happy, but I'm kinda confused too. Basically, I'll wake up at like 3 or 4 and I decide to try a wild so I flip onto my side. Then I wait. Then a while later I realize that I can't move and can barely feel my body, and I'm seeing weird things and my eyes feel weird. This continued and eventually I had a lucid dream both times. The thing is (and I only realized this after I woke up) that I went to sleep on my side and never moved. But when I was seeing and feeling weird stuff I was on my back. This makes me think that it was a dream of me wilding, but who cares, it worked, right? What do you think?

Sounds like you went through Sleep paralysis, since sleep paralysis Is a dream that's probably why you found yourself sleeping on your back. With all my SP experiences I am lying on my back, don't know why. But it sounds like your doing great!! Keep it up and good luck fellow dreamer.

      Yeah that happens a lot.
I'll often get the sensations of WILDing and realise I'm not even in my bed anymore and that I'm on my mates floor, or out in my garden or somewhere.

I believe it's because you slip off to sleep and into a vivid non Lucid, so you think you're awake and still trying to WILD, but you're actually already Dreaming.
As you're still trying to WILD, the Dream then creates the sensations you're expecting and you become Lucid.

You're opposite to me, I always turn on my back to WILD, if I sleep on my side I'll usually fall asleep to quickly and sleep to deeply.

      SteviNicks.

I'm not an expert on SP by any means but I don't think SP is always a Dream.
Sometimes it's a case of your mind waking up before your body.

If you only have the skills to do so you can experience anything you can imagine as real.
