How to get into a lucid dream through sleep paralysis more gentle

Hey, I have had sleep paralysis since I was 12, now I can more or less just let whatever wierd happenings come and go as they like and then return to an awakened state. I think, 2 weeks ago I had my first aware lucid dream (I have started going to bed at 8 around some time ago and get more or less 12 hours of sleep some nights, I think that's one reason to it happening). It was awesome, and now I know how to prolong it and change some scenery. Since I have been reading about lucid dreaming I have also stumbled across the possibility of entering a lucid dream through sleep paralysis, I tried this tonight and I actually was successful. I awoke flying over a big green field with red and yellow flowers, bright and cool. However, as I tried to pass to the lucid dream from the sleep paralysis, this is how I did it:

      1. I relaxed and let whatever sensations that came come and let them ride out, this made the SP much more gentle. I became relaxed.
      2. I imagined a dream scene or that I wanted to become lucid while in that state and more shaky sensations came along, however when I just let them pass through I suddenly realised I was flying over the green field. Success.

What I wonder is, is there someway to pass to a lucid dream more gentle without the need for so many uncomfortable sensations? I think I had at least 5 times over that the not so nice bodily things happened and first then I came into the dream.

Is there anybody else with SP or that practice this way of getting into lucid dreams through perhaps WILDs where I have understood that sleep paralysis sometimes happens as a middle stage to lucid dreaming (such as in my case)?

I have tried a few times to get to LD through SP and have failed every time. I've not REALLY had an LD yet. My issue seems to be that I get so bloody uncomfortable that I am forced to move and break it. I suppose it may not be full SP since I am able to break it and move so easily... :/
      LD's: 1

My next goal: a LD that lasts more than a minute...
Man, my first one though... what an experience.

I think each WILD is different. Some will be violent, some gentle. I don't know if you can necessarily control how you will transition. Maybe you will be able to later, after you've gotten more practice? I would imagine though that focusing on how you will transition, as opposed to just letting things happen, may lessen the effectiveness of your WILD. Just my two cents.

I think it's awesome, BTW, that you're having such success! Keep it up!

Awesome, thanks. The night before I actually got into SP again, and this time just through a gentle rush I imagined myself getting into a LD and I got there! Hurray, lol.

5times that is awesome. That's really amazing progress. Did you post your LD on the site?

Ah, I haven't. Basically when in a SP I just let whatever sensations, feelings or thoughts just be there, this mildens whatever wierd stuff that happens, sounds or vibrations, and then when it's really mild or relatively I just imagine myself going to a lucid dream and usually this creates some sensations (that I don't want of course) but they last a relatively short time, not even 15 seconds, and then I'm inside the lucid dream and just ground myself.

I definitely need to try this as soon as I learn how to get in SP. I've never experienced SP before though, but from what I've read, I'll recognize it when I have it for sure.

I've heard focusing on these vibrations makes the transition smooth.
