How come sometimes when you visualize and see the place your eye lids move rapidly and sometimes they don't? When I was trying to go into the dream many times I would make it but it would only last for a few seconds. I think its cause I wasn't really tired anymore since I took a nap earlier but it really stressed me out. Waiting for like hours at 4am to fall back asleep but only getting random seconds of dream time. Most of the time I spent thinking. This happened yesterday though. :/
Here's an example of what occurred: I tried using a visualization technique of me imagining myself falling into the dream and my dream guide catching me and distracting me enough so I could be apart of the dream without messing it up. It worked a couple of times but as soon as I had the dream feeling it would break and I was in reality again. Is it because of my thinking or was my dream time just overdue?
