      Where is this dream character?

      Hey guys,

One of my primary lucid dreaming goals is to meet and interract with a particular dream character. However, so far she has been particularly elusive! When I become lucid and stabilized I generally aim to walk through a door with the intent of meeting this character. Almost every time I have done this she has not been there; the only exception is the night before last when she was there, but I almost immediately woke up.

Since embarking on my LD jourey I have improved a lot; I have had LDs the past 4 nights, and around 30 in total (although in a few of these I just became lucid and nothing happened). I have done cool stuff such as flying and my confidence is currently at an all-time high, but this character just doesn't seem to want to appear in my dreams...I have tried about 12 times and she just never shows up!!!

Has anybody else had problems like this? What can I do about it? Thanks heaps in advance for any help

Have you tried asking them to come, instead of trying to force it? Or teleporting to their place?

I am the forceful kind of dreamer, so will either force-summon or teleport and annoy DCs to no end, but yeah you could try the "asking" ways.

Maybe try a more passive approach and try coming up with an excuse for her to be there. For instance, if you're at your house, maybe she just moved in next door, so you should go welcome her. I've found that that sort of control works better than forcing it, at least for me.
