Hi,
It might've been a start of Meditation WILD
You've spotted a Hypnagonic Hallucinations which tend to happen as we are enter our dream world
Here's the process of dream forming:
- A simple shapes appear (Example: Foggy Circle)
- Shapes start to become more complex,
- They eventually become 3d,
- They might start to look like objects
- Out of those objects eventually scene will form
- Scene slowly starts to cover your whole sight
- When your whole sight after few seconds you will be probably fully in dream.
When that happens you should do your choosen 'Stabilization' technique and enjoy the lucid
Thought you shouldn't pay close attention to those hypnagonic stuff
They might be sound, odd sensations, vibrations or images
But they don't need to appear at all.
Sometimes during my WILDs i was just lying in the bed till i suddenly appeared in a dream.
Good Job
It was a close one.
Keep on trying and surely it will pay off with lucids
I suggest reading up this guide aswell: http://www.dreamviews.com/wake-initi...ild-guide.html
It is quite awesome, thought i'il give you a hint about something
When author mentions that anchors need to be minimaly engaging then it's not quite a truth ( It kinda varies?)
For me counting anchor required putting like 70 - 90% of my brainpower to keep consciousness up without falling asleep unconsciously.
And now,
Goodluck with further WILDs fellow dreamer
