I work at a sensory deprivation studio (floatation studio) and have had the unique opportunity over the past year to float as much as I want (probably somewhere between 100 and 200 hours). I've heard before that floating can help with lucid dreaming, and I have found quite a bit of success with applying my practices in the tank. Though I haven't yet had a LD in the tank, floating preps me for the night ahead in my own bed. The hypnagogic imagery that occurs while floating is very similar to what I've experienced while trying to induce a WILD, and if I spend my time focusing my intention on my awareness or a certain dream symbol, I'm certain that I can increase the frequency of the LD's I have.

I'm wondering, has anyone else floated? And if so, has it helped with your own LD success?
