      What brought me here.

Well it started by mistake, I was Reading some stuff on dream control and listening to music getting ready for bed. I was worried because I haven't dreamed in a long time. I went to sleep thinking about dreaming but nothing happened. The next day I went to work and did the normal mundane thing got off from work and went home made dinner and called it a night. I remember reading something about laying in your bed on your back, and stay still, for 20 minutes. Ignore any impulse you feel. So this is when it happened, I was on a fishing boat with my grandpa and it felt so real, He was my best friend and passed away some time ago. It really tore me up. but anyway we are in this random fishing boat and talking and laughing. I woke up and its crazy because now i cant remember half the dream, but I will tell you that I cried like a baby at 4 am when I woke up. I almost felt like he was really there. I didn't have full control of my body and it was almost like I was along for the ride but I knew I was dreaming. The only thing I could do was talk and look around.

The one I had last night was me with my dad in this early 90s fox body mustang. We are at my granny's house and its wet outside and my dad brings over this old mustang then we just slid around the apartment complex for what seemed like hours. This dream I was also out of control but I just don't understand how this is possible but I felt the g forces going side ways and the rumble of the motor, the smell of the old car and the burning tires. This is my 2nd dream like this in a row. I again woke up and now I cant remember half the dream. It almost seems like as time passes I forget more of it. I am always thinking about dreaming now. I'm actually looking forward to tonight.

This was a life changing experience for me, Times have been rough for me lately and seeing my grandpa was amazing. I almost feel like I went to his house for the weekend like we use to do when I was young. looking forward to learning my new hobby!!!!

I'm happy that dreams have changed your life in a good way SaltLife. Dreams can indeed be very powerful, and even some can be more real and vivid than Waking Life itself. Journey into these dreams man, because when you become lucid you can do anything you want(not sure if you already knew that haha my bad if you did).

I've had a few dreams myself that were very powerful as well, and when I awoke from them I was in a very emotional state. I think I can say that we are both alike in the fact that we both look forward to dreaming every night Welcome to DreamViews man, if you ever need anything I'd be glad to help, and so would everyone else.

"If we doubted our fears instead of doubting our dreams, imagine how much in life we'd accomplish." ~Joel Brown
"Your background and circumstances may have influenced who you are, but you are responsible for who you become." ~Darren Hardy

      Goals:
-Become Lucid in every dream every night
      -Perfect the time dilation watch
-Continue to have a dream plan for most of my lucid dreams
