Thread: Surreal Dream Experiences

Post any experiences or things dream-related that seem very odd, surreal, or supernatural. I'll post a few of my own:

1. Dream Music
When I am half-conscious and falling asleep I hear really really good music, usually jazz or classic rock, but if I focus on it enough to know what the singer is saying or to memorize the song it instantly stops. One of my greatest goals while lucid dreaming is to get some of that music memorized.

2. Shared Dreams
Two of my family members share the exact same recurring dream. It couldn't be from one of them describing it to the other because they are identical and both recurring.

Isn't it crazy, all the cool things about Dreaming? Like you, I have experienced listening to Dream Music, and I have heard it a few times while I was falling back asleep. Whenever this happens, the music sounds really loud, and its sounds as real as waking life. One time, the music was so loud that I thought I had left my sub-woofer on and it was still playing my music. Many times in dreams I will hear a song play. Sometimes my mind will create music that I have never heard, and it sounds really good too. Every time I experience this, I must say it is very enjoyable.
As for shared dreams, I'd like to experience those one day, but right now I don't know much about them and its not my top priority.

I've never experienced anything out of the ordinary but, my most enjoyable moment was during a DIELD. I entered the dream by getting sucked into a flower. I could see all these amazing colours and shapes. Was pretty awesome!

Another strange but common occurrence was during a brief awakening, where my body was going from one side of the room to the other. Talk about fun.
