      Entering the dream

I have been attempting to Fild the past few nights and I am confused what feeling I'm looking for before I RC? I move my fingers ever so gently but hold off on the RC because I don't feel any different. What does it feel like to cross over into the dream world? I feel like if I know when to RC, I'll have a much better result.

Alright, I'll tell you how I've been getting lucid multiple times per night for the past few days.

In a way the technique I use is quiet the same like FILD, once you're able to do it once you'll likely never fail again.

      1. Set your alarm to wake you up after 5-6 hours of sleep, while also still having 2 hours left to sleep.

      2. Just stop your alarm, it doesn't matter wether you move a little bit or not but as someone who is a light sleeper I advice you not to leave your bed or you might have trouble falling asleep again.

      3. Yes, that's right I just said 'falling asleep'. A lot of people seem to forget when you do your techniques like WILD/FILD/... that you have to fall asleep before you can enter a dream. Got that? Good...

      4. Now here's the part where I stop following any other techniques and instead switch over to what I learned from myself after several weeks of practice. The FILD technique's main goal is to keep you awake mentally by having you focus on moving your fingers. Read my words carefully you focus on moving your fingers in reality you don't move them at all! This is important, there's a point where the thought of your fingers moving will actually begin making it feel as if your fingers actually move. Think of it as actually entering the dream without you knowing it, everything you imagine becomes real, also the imagined movement of your fingers.
Now instead of moving my fingers I focus on my vision which seems to zoom into the darkness of my eyelids when I fall asleep, I just slowly fall deeper and deeper in my sleep until I reach what I call 'Limbo' which is actually the name of the place between earth and hell but I use it to name the place between awake and sleep.

      5. There's little to no difference I feel in laying down with my eyes closed completely relaxed and actually sleeping while still being conscious. When I guess I've been laying there long enough I imagine myself rolling over, left or right doesn't matter. This will be very easy because you won't feel any resistance from your sheets like you normally have when trying to roll over.

      6. "Wait a second, I'm still in my bedroom..." Yes you will likely start your dream inside your dark bedroom or like my first time I actually dreamed I felt out of bed and on the ground. It was only after I did a nose plug RC that I realised I had not just woken everyone up by my tumble.

      7. Crawl around on your dream-bed to stabilize and deepen the dream, the soft fabric of your matress is excellent for stimulating your sense of touch.

I hope you'll have more succes soon. P.S. I typed this on my Ipad so expect horrible spelling mistakes and missing letters.
If you read this do a reality check, you will thank me later...
