      3 questions - help please!

How can I become lucid in such dream?
I play some games but i'm not affected by them lol. And this one i haven't played for a few months. I can see my character but i can't see the controls and my computer. Just the screen. However I can somehow control my character. And this is the only dream I remember today cause I had insomnia after SSILD attempt.
I kinda feel that i shouldn't go out of bed since i always get insomnia afterwards. And i'm sure i'm not dreaming cause i do RCs regularly. Is it ok?
And today i woke up after 3 hours od sleep naturally the second time in a row. Should I attempt SSILD at that moment (today i just ignored it, fell asleep again and got woken up by the alarm clock 1,5h later) ? I start feeling that this technique is not for me but will continue trying it for next 2 weeks.

      Thanks!

      Hi,

With such dream awareness could do the miracles
Awareness could be something like questioning reality. Let's take for example you'd start looking around your room and question it while keeping in mind whether your dreaming or not?
For an example: Your in your room and you decided to do awareness tech. You look for nearest object. You find out that closest object is your hand. You start looking at it. Checking out it's details. While trying to find something weird or something that couldn't happen in real life and while doing so you keep in mind that if you notice something like that then that means that your dreaming. Then after checking your hand you proceed with doors. You look at the door knob you check it's shape and color and if it's looking like it should etc.
In games you could do the same thing. Look at the panels, character's textures, name's or values. Yeah values could be the best way there. In our dreams numbers might change suddenly or out of reason. So if you'd have in game amount of money 140,901$ then it might change up to 314,430 etc.
There's lots of ways to do so. It mainly depends on increasing your waking awareness in moment at live be it reality or dream and question stuff around you while knowing that weird stuff == means that your dreaming. And if you have still doubts that your dreaming or not try basic reality check

For SSILD i'd suggest you going with bigger amount of sleep. I usually do my WILD/DEILD Attempts after 5 - 7 hours of sleep
The point of SSILD and other techniques basing on WILD is to keep yourself conscious while your body is falling asleep. It's kinda tight balance. If your not engaging your brain enough then you more than likely fall asleep unconsciously and if your engaging it too much then you won't be able to sleep or it will take longer for you to fall asleep (If it takes longer to fall asleep then it might produce ld aswell )

      - Goodluck
      I'm back! Again? Uhhh..

      Hello,

Thank you for your response dear friend from Poland . I started my adventure with LD last week and got enough confidence and motivation to work hard until I get wanted results. I'm not really into WILD thing as I find myself easy to disrupt and it's quite difficult to fall asleep while focusing on something for me. I might try it tho at some point tho. Right now (apart from trying out SSILD of course) I'm doing RCs and have a dream journal. I also started self awarness today.

Once again, thanks for your advice.

      Have wonderful LDs
