      So close to Lucidity!

      I was so close to Lucidity last night!

      I was going to bed about 3 AM and was gonna do WBTB 4 hours after falling in to sleep, so I set the alarm on 7 AM. But the time between 3 AM and 7 AM I almost got Lucid.

      I don't remember so much about the dream itself but I do remember I did some Lucidity Tricks. I think I was showing a person these things you could say and do in a dream so I watched my hands, and said in the dream "I demand clarity" and the dream became clearer. I did also spin around with success. But even though I did these things I didn't become Lucid. So, I feel like I'm on a good way to succeed.

      I also woke up by myself 9 minutes before the alarm for WBTB. And WBTB didn't work this night.

      Try drinking a glass of apple juice before performing a WBTB. A lot of people on Dream Views have had success with it.

      Also congratulations on almost becoming lucid! Make sure you enter it into your dream journal!

      Thanks for sharing - just keep at it. That's the think about LDing - for many people, it takes lots of practice, desire and awareness. As an aside, I think it's awesome to wake up just a little bit before you set your alarm to go off like you did - amazing how the mind / body work.
