      Becoming more aware in dreams?

Can anyone post some tips or experiences of out of the blue, no dream sign involved, you just become lucid? This happened to me a few nights ago. I have been more aware that something is not right, but never did a RC, such as last night when I went outside and I scarcely noticed that the cobblestone is no more, but is grayish grass and that the wooden porch was gone. But still no RC..

I believe that is called the DILD. Dream Induced Lucid Dreaming. There's nothing that prepares you for it, it kind of happens out of nowhere. But dream signs and 24/7 reality checks in waking life should help it stay consistence. Hope this helps! God bless!

I actually usually become lucid Without RCs and I reality check just to make sure I don't do anything too crazy while thinking I'm in a dream while I'm actually awake. This happens to me a lot when I pay attention to my surroundings in waking life and question whether I could actually be asleep or not. It's also happened a lot when I have felt like walking life is a dream and I had difficulty telling the difference between this world and my dreams

Besides reality checks, try to be aware of everything in life, and try to questioned everything surrounded you that could make you lucid.

I often become lucid without doing a reality check, I just realise something is different or not right and instantly know it's a dream. I often don't perform a RC to check I can just tell. It's hard to describe but it's like I can feel the dream around me, like it has an energy to it that I can sense.

If you want more DILD's practice raising your waking awareness. ADA/lucid living/dream yoga and meditation would be the best way. Mindfulness is a very powerful tool.
Other than that, keep a DJ, remember your dreamsigns and practice RC's.
