      Poor recall weakened my experience

I had this obe/lucid dream, the best one among the few I've ever had. When I was there I couldn't believe it, the kind of thing you have to witness by yourself. I experimented with some success, but when I accidentally woke up I lost this feeling of confidence I had about the whole experience, and that's because the poor recalling of the graphical details. Someone who can relate?

I can relate. This is why recall is considered so important and should not be neglected. It is the base of your pyramid as a lucid dreamer. (A lucid dreaming pyramid... I should draw that...) There is no point in having any sort of lucid dreaming experience if you cannot remember it.

Last year, for a couple of months or so I had very solid dreams with outstanding recalling, something unusual for me. I could focus to the last dream then go backwards and pass through the rest of them, even seven in a row. During the day, things like sounds from my neighbourhood could trigger memories of a dream. The only new habits I can think of were playing DNB a lot and studying chess. I'm starting again DNB these days to see if there really is any improvement.
