My little sister has dreams every night, never lucid though, and I have been trying to teach her how to lucid dream, using the basic dream journal and RCs method, but she just can't gain awareness, any other alternatives to RCs and all day awareness that I haven't heard of and that she can use?

Well, there are a ton of methods and techniques she can use, but it depends on her age. Make sure she is doing her RCs correctly. That is a common mistake.

Though they are important, there really is more to LD'ing than RC's and DJ'ing. In addition to those, you might consider teaching her MILD, if possible, because MILD covers most of the basics for LD'ing of any kind. From there, you can work with her to find out what she likes best, and what works best for her.
