My goal is to see hynagogia imagery... I've been trying for a couple of weeks and nothing. This is what I do: relax and just stare into the blackness, as well as focusing on my breath and saying a mantra like 'I am deeply relaxed' |

Don't stare into the blackness. You're trying to fall asleep, which means directing your attention away from your real life body. Staring into the back of your eyelids keeps you awake. Furthermore, don't try to look at the hypnagogia, or you'll wake yourself up. Just lay down in your bed, and try to fall asleep normally, but while conscious rather than passed out. The light you see when you close your eyes is normal, and with enough training you can learn how to control it(although this won't be your goal for quite an amount of time). |

Through my experience, became aware of my breath, then
Began to cultivate my art with the intention of the heart,
Started to use my sentences as reflections.
And what I saw was God was in all of us and we all come to be interconnected.
And all that was depended on all of us
And had effects like a domino when you let it.
Go with the flow, that the universe holds.
Not everyone experiences strong HI. Why are you interested in this state in particular? Just curious--it is not necessary to see HI in order to LD. |

I've had this a few times in recent months, I was seeing street scenes with houses and roads with cars and buses driving by, each scene lasting between 5-10 seconds. Quite an odd experience, I wasn't quite sure what was going on to be honest, I thought I was hallucinating (I guess that part is true), only just learned of hynagogia thanks to you so now I know what it was! |
