Have been wondering about this for quite some time now. Always find myself in huge dream landscapes filled with people. I don't think my mind is able to fully reproduce a whole virtual environment every time I fall asleep though, so I always wake up confused. Just last night I found myself in a school setting with around 100 different people, or DC's. It was a very multi layered dream. This was followed by saving a huge group of airline passengers by shifting my body weight to prevent an airplane from falling from the sky, followed by busting through this gas station with 3 guys I've never seen before, only to find myself in this random bar like setting afterwards. So how does it all work? It can't be as simple as it seems, like oh there's so and so again busting through walls and what not. Also I often have dreams involving family members or close friends of mine from my old school, yet when confronted with the situation in waking life they always deny any involvement. Now I doubt I'm powerful enough or even wise enough for that matter to be enjoying life with a duplicate set of people that look and act the same way as they do that they are completely unaware of. The whole thing just seems really implausible, and thinking about it gives me a headache, I feel like I must be missing something really important here.
