I'm new to this, but have had an experience

Hi, I'm new to this page, but had an experience a couple of months ago, and hoping someone can shed some light on what may have happened to me.

I was lying in bed one night and as I started falling asleep I was aware of a sensation like my soul leaving my body and getting pulled really, really quickly, like a crazy fast vacuum through space (and I don't mean 'outta space', just like nothing. Eventually I came to this scene of a house and I saw my mum was in there playing with my eldest daughter, but she was an older girl (she is 3 now but looked more like 7 in the dream). The house had white tiles (a house I wasn't familiar with) and I was aware of other people there, but I didn't see them. My view of this scenario was looking down (as if I was floating on the ceiling). I stated thinking OMG I am seeing the future and started to feel really freaked out by it. Then I felt the rapid suction feeling again and it was like a jolt back into my body and I woke up.

A couple of nights later I felt myself slip out of my body again, then a bright light tunnel and suction started again, and I was just thinking 'no, no, no, no, I don't want to go, I don't want to see', then I slipped back into my body and woke up (without seeing anything) and it hasn't happened since.

I often still have the feeling of leaving my body as I'm falling asleep, although I haven't experienced the vacuum suction again. I always feel so afraid when i feel myself leaving my body because it's like there's a possibility I could die (or am dead).

I also had a bizarre experience many years ago when I was around 16/17 years old. It was a few days before Christmas and I fell asleep and then was suddenly aware someone walked into my room (as I heard the door open). I got up and went outside my bedroom (although I was floating) and there were voices and people EVERYWHERE in my house! They were all chatting and laughing etc and most didn't seem to notice me, but some were looking at me. There was one man sitting down on the floor, leaning up against the wall. He was wearing what looked like army gear, but more like WW1 or WW2 clothes.. He looked sad and was hanging his head down, not talking to anyone. I started freaking out and went back to my room and bed. I was kind of hyperventilating and breathing heavily because I was so scared. An Indian woman was sitting on my bed next to me and she was with a little girl. She was looking at me and giggling a bit (not in a nasty way, but just because she found it funny that I found the situation so scary). I asked her if I was dreaming and she said "it probably looks like a dream and feels like a dream but it's not". Then I heard a loud BANG like the sound of my window slamming shut and I woke up. I looked at the time and it was an hour since I had last checked the time (almost to the minute). I kept thinking 'thank god that is over!' and was so afraid of falling asleep again, but haven't had anything happen like that since.

Anyone who could shed any light on these experiences would be great!

      Thanks

The first two events you described seem like out of body experiences, or they could just be dreams. From what I read OBEs aren't deadly and will stop if you want them to. The third event just seems like a bad dream to me. Although, It is weird the lady didn't admit it was a dream. If it happens again there are ways to check if it is actually a dream, like pinching yourself. These are called reality checks.

Dream Characters will rarely tell you that you are dreaming unless you are an experienced lucid dreamer/oneironaut and they "know" they can fool you. Back when I first started LDing and I be on the verge of lucidity, I'd always ask DC's if this was a dream. Their reply as usual, "Are you serious? This is obviously real." Don't trust them!

      Goals:
-Become Lucid in every dream every night
      -Perfect the time dilation watch
-Continue to have a dream plan for most of my lucid dreams

I've had the exact opposite experience, DCs will always tell me if it's a dream. Even when I had no idea what lucid dreaming was. Just goes to show how different our experiences can be.
