If I ever have a child...

If I ever have a child, as soon as they're able to communicate their dreams, I will journal them.
Then when they gets a bit older, they can continue to do so themselves.
They would get insane dream recal growing up, and teach them reality checks and stuff.
Just a thought. Would be fun And that large dream journal collection, lol

      Really cool ideia for sure!
I'll copy your ideia if you don't mind, sounds like a really great activity to do as a parent..
On top of that your son will be carrying something that his dad taught to him for life xD

My husband and I are trying for a kid, and we are damn well going to teach them about dreaming :p

There's a subreddit about it: https://www.reddit.com/r/LucidDreamingForKids/ But it doesn't seem to be active anymore. Still a few threads there though.

LD goal: Solar kamehameha! SSGSS status!

(Hey, you, wanna play a game?)

That's interesting - I have a six months old boy and was just thinking about this the other day.
I read that kids often LD by themselves and then loose that skill as they grow up.
So I will make sure he is aware of the many possibilities there are out there for him in terms of LD.

Reminds me of The Giver. They all talk about their dreams in the morning around breakfast. I always talk to my wife about my dreams in the morning and plan on doing this when my children are old enough.

I don't know about teaching them about LDing since I wouldn't want to force it onto someone that might not want it.

We lose a lot of things with age. LDing is something that we can gain and lose with age like creativity. I didn't lose it, but lots did, and it is sad. imagination and creativity are very valuable for a happy life I feel.
