      First LD Attempt

Hello everyone! Last night I attempted my first LD. I didn't expect to succeed, and I didn't, but I saw progress. I woke up comfortably after my first dream, went to the bathroom, and went back to bed. I fell asleep normally, having one unique dream after another. I did not realize I was dreaming (I often do, one of my reasons for attempting the LD), but I feel like I made progress. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd be glad to test them out!

I'm confused 'I often do, one of my reasons for attempting the LD' if you realize you are dreaming then you are already lding?

What often happens in my dreams is I realize it is a dream, but force myself to wake up or just continue as if I wasn't lucid. I know, it's a little confusing.

When you realize you are dreaming, rub your hands together and spin around. Don't rush into things. You'll get better the more Ld's you have, although I'm having the same problem at the moment.
