      Are these hypnagogic hallucinations?

So I know, totally generic topic title, but I genuinely am curious.

So I've been working on recall for about a week and a half now. Having decent results, remembering fairly vividly any dreams I have when I'm not sleeping in my bed, and finally breaking through the block I had been having of remembering dreams when I sleep in my bed (Guessing it had to do with the familiarity or something. Not sure.) Anyways so I have a daily routine until I get home from school

      1) Wake up and record any dreams
      2) Drive my dad to work and my brother to school
      3) Go to school
      4) Crash at my grandma's place for an hour until I have to pick my brother up
      5) Pick everyone up and go home

So the odd things have been happening at step number four. Since I have pretty good recall for that time and it counts as a nap so I enter REM sleep immediately, I've been just trying to induce some hypnagogic images/sounds/feelings. The trouble is, I've never seen them described very well so I don't know if what I get is that. So first off, I basically do the cylces for SSILD a few times until I get sleepy enough that I start to feel more drowsy than normal. Then the things start.

Hearing: I hear weird things, but not really hear them. The sounds have to do with the background thoughts in my mind, but I don't really hear them per se, I can tell they're there when they happen, but it doesn't really register as a sound until after it happens. Kind of like hearing an echo of an echo of an echo.
Seeing: Today was the first time, along with feeling, that I got something for this. I could kind of see the essence of a room, but it was like my eyes were covered in a few layers of saran wrap. It was extremely dim and blurry. Almost like what it looks like when you open your eyes just slightly, but from what I could see, the room didn't look anything like the one I was sleeping in.
Feeling: I didn't feel much, but it was basically like a warm and fuzzy, almost buzzing feeling. It kind of felt like I couldn't move, like sleep paralysis, but more like I could move, but I felt extremely unmotivated to try to do it.

I'm just curious if the above is normal, and if it would fall under hypnagogic imagery/sounds/whatever?
