Missing the obvious signs!

Hi all, I have been a member for quite a few years but I stopped participating and abandoned my dream journal due to starting my degree anyways I finished at a grand age of 31 and am back into my DJ and lucidity aim! I had some success with 2 lucids dreams and had my third last night which was so vivid was unbelievable lasted only a minute until I fell back into a non lucid dream! (My own fault). Anyways I had loads of dreams last night and the dream I become lucid in was so normal the only difference was there was graffiti on a tall block of flats and I wondered how it got up there and a man was riding a massive bike! So I performed a RC (my choice of RC is checking my hand for more fingers) for me these are very sutle Dream signs but I was just walking around in my dream nice and calmly. Whereas my other dream was the end of the world travelling to a underground bunker with the ability to teleport, why didn't I think to RC then? It's almost like there is so much going on doing a RC is just a low priority.

It is because you don't RC because things were strange around you. It was something that happened within you. Things seemed hectic because you were not very aware, the more aware you are of a situation, the more it is going to make sense and the more likely to become lucid as well. Welcome back! Welcome back! Congratulations with your lucid dreams. I feel you man, that happens to me too sometimes when I'm having the strangest dreams, sometimes where I'm even telling dream characters about how awesome I am at knowing when I'm in a dream.
