      Deild alarm?

I am trying a LD by using the DEILD method, but I can't find a good alarm. I need an alarm that I can download on my phone (S4) , and it needs to be free. I also would need to be able to customize the sound, and be able to customize how long it goes off, (3 seconds). I have never had a lucid dream, and I can't wake up naturally in or after one dream. I have been looking for this for a long time, and have had 0 luck. -_-

The one I use is Alarm Clock Plus (logo is a red school bell with a black plus in the middle).

Under Settings > Alarm Clock Settings, you can specify an "Auto Snooze Time" or an "Auto Dismiss Time" (the amount of time the alarm rings before it automatically gets snoozed/dismissed), which can range anywhere from 1 second to 3 hours. Then when you create an alarm, mark the checkbox for "Allow Auto Snooze?" or "Allow Auto Dismiss?".

When I was using DEILD, I found it best to auto snooze after 5 seconds, and then auto snooze for 90 30 minutes. You might have to play with the volume settings so the alarm doesn't jar you awake too much, but it worked pretty well for me.

90 mins seems like a large time span between attempts, i prefer to attempt a deild each 30 mins from about 5 hours in giving 6-8 chances to deild, sometimes i may even set the alarm for every 15 mins so that i have a very high chance of lucidity from at least one attempt. I use alarmclockbud which sounds similar to the one already spoken about

Okay! Yeah, I can't use alarmclockbud because I do not have an Iphone or Ipod.. I have an Samsung Galaxy S4. However, I will try the alarm you reccomended, Spellbee. I was just wondering, since you both use the DIELD Technieque, how long did it take ya'll to have a Lucid dream this way?

It worked for me within a week or so, but I had already had about 80 lucids before I started trying DEILD, so I'm not sure that's a good indication for someone who's just starting out. If you're fairly practiced up with RCs and awareness, I can't imagine it would take longer than a month. It's just a matter of trying to become aware as quickly as possible when you wake up, and then maintaining that awareness as you drift back to sleep.
