I actually experienced that problem only twice (the second time I just waited it out), but really agree with your points! I also interrupted the WILD the first time around (and woke up), and had no tension what-so-ever in the jaw, so I figured it must have been just one of the hallucinations. Like you suggested in point three, I just endured it the second time it happened (~1.5 weeks back). Haven't happened since!
And I also agree with point 2 - paying attention to the HH only intensifies them. I always try to just ignore them and focus on something else if I try to lucid (and if the HH aren't enjoyable - 'cause sometimes they are..). But this particular sensation was something that I thought could actually endanger me physically (by damaging teeth) - so I had to wake up to know if it's real or not, and also really wanted to know if others encountered this and if they can confirm that it's not actually happens physically. So thanks for confirming it, that's what I wanted to hear!
