Two questions: jaw clenching & lucid dream within a non-lucid dream

Last night / this morning I had a very weird night caused by a WILD. I posted the whole experience in my DJ, but be warned - it's very long and detailed (which is good since that's one of my goals - for things to be more memorable and vivid). Two questions I have, that arose from this experience:

      1. It was the first time I remained completely conscious and aware while WILDing, from the relaxation part up until the dream formation. However, as the dream appeared and the HH cooled down, I had this growing sensation of extreme jaw clenching. I wasn't tense or anything, yet no matter what I tried, my jaws just kept pressing harder (until I eventually decided to wake up, fearing it actually happening IRL). Have you ever encountered this? What can cause it? How could one deal with it without quitting on such a perfect lucid possibility?

      2. Several hours later I tried to take a nap, but was convinced I couldn't fall asleep. Later, I fell asleep and became lucid there, and even woke up and fell asleep again to continue the lucid dream (doing a DEILD/CHILD). I eventually woke up from the lucid, but thing is, then I woke up again. So, retrospectively, I know that all of that was a massive FA. I had before similar FAs were I can't sleep, but this one was different since I successfully fell asleep AND was lucid and had at least some control AND went back and forth between the FA dream and the "inner dream" - everything stayed the same in the FA while I was "lucid dreaming", etc. Does this technically count as a LD in your opinion, and have you experienced something of this sort?

This thread appears to be pretty old, so I'm not sure if I'm actually helping, but I will try to shed some light on that jaw clenching thing you mentioned.
I used to experience that a lot when I was getting into WILDing, so I experimented with it a bit and found out a few things:

      1. It does not happen IRL. I interrupted the dream entry by moving my hand, and the feeling quickly subsided without me moving my jaw at all.
      2. I believe we can, to some degree, control the dream entry the same way we control the full-blown dream. That means you can get rid of it by not paying attention to it and focusing on different body parts instead.
      3. If you endure it, you can still enter the dream. The clenching stops after a while and it's not really all that unbearable.
      4. It does not happen to me anymore, after a few weeks I simply stopped experiencing it altogether. It makes me believe it's just a temporary inconvinience.

Everyone is different, especially when it comes to dreaming, so these points are not bound to apply to you. Still, I hope I have been at least of some help.

Thanks for the reply and info!

I actually experienced that problem only twice (the second time I just waited it out), but really agree with your points! I also interrupted the WILD the first time around (and woke up), and had no tension what-so-ever in the jaw, so I figured it must have been just one of the hallucinations. Like you suggested in point three, I just endured it the second time it happened (~1.5 weeks back). Haven't happened since!

And I also agree with point 2 - paying attention to the HH only intensifies them. I always try to just ignore them and focus on something else if I try to lucid (and if the HH aren't enjoyable - 'cause sometimes they are..). But this particular sensation was something that I thought could actually endanger me physically (by damaging teeth) - so I had to wake up to know if it's real or not, and also really wanted to know if others encountered this and if they can confirm that it's not actually happens physically. So thanks for confirming it, that's what I wanted to hear!
