      Memory problem

So i woke up naturally today 90 minutes before my alarm rings. And imediatelly lied on my bed to recall the dream i had.At first i remember the end of it but as i tried to remember other parts of it i was forgetting details and i ended up writing down only the concept of the dream in my journal.Any ideas?

      Hi,

A good method of recording your nightly dreams is to record them immediately upon waking from them during the night and not waiting until morning. Keep a note pad and pen within easy reach and when you awaken from a dream reach for your pad and pen and jot down everything you can recall. The dream should be at it's clearest in your mind at this stage. It's better to keep your movement to a minimum as well so try to restrict this by staying in your bed when you awaken, even if this means writing down your dreams in the dark. In the morning you can then rewrite these roughly written dreams in your proper dream diary. Alternatively, you could use a dictation machine upon waking from a dream during the night and then transfer the recording into print when you get up the next morning.
