Have you tried the water method? Drink enough water before bed to give you the urge to get up part way through the night to pee. It normally gets me at the end of a cycle usually after 3 cycles, about 4.5 hours in. It is less likely that you will roll over and shut off the alarm and also less disturbance of your natural sleep cycles with an alarm potentially waking up in the middle of one. The water method seems to primarily get your attention as you are finishing a cycle at the end of one of your REM segments when we often naturally have a mini-awakening and roll over/adjust sleep position (most people don't notice these periods). |
