Im exited to see the results what do u all think?

The past week i have been listening to a loop voice recording of myself saying the words 'when i wake i will remember my dreams'.After the first day i saw that it worked and i was remembering 1-2 dreams a day and some bieng quiet long.
Now my dream recall is classed as average iv decided tonight as im at work to do my job as usual but with a new voice loop i made which is 'i will see my hands and will know that i am dreaming'.I read that stephen leberge when young chanted this for like an hour before bed and that same night he saw his hands in his dreams so i want to follow his mantra.
I listen and say it aloud or in my head for about 1-3 hours which is alot of times i chant this so im exited to see when i get the *hand dream*.....ofcourse iv been practising different techniques on and off for about 3 years now and reality checking comes natural to me before i become lucid and sumtimes i dont need to RC but i do only have like 2 LDs a month.
I do believe mantras can be very powerful if you use them in the right way and visualise the words and picture yourself for instance seing your hands in a dream.....has anyone else used mantras and how effective have they been for you? Thanx =D

sometimes I will create a loop (or cut one from youtube etc) that is talking about stabilizing or becoming lucid or what ever. Then I will leave it playing quietly while I sleep.

I set a timer and play white noise over the top of it, so I don't here the words until I am already asleep. I just hear rain playing on top

I have had it penetrate into my dreams as radio, TV, movie etc. Sometimes I have even triggered

I also sometimes just play sounds to set intention for dream, the rain it self can do this you might dream of a deluge.

Maybe you should give this a try with your stuff.

I play the rain from here https://rain.simplynoise.com/

the furthest right button is the sleep timer try like at least 50min or so if initial sleep
it will end and the underlying loop will appear (just play that yourself infinitely)
Sure LUCID DREAMS are all fun and games until someone loses a third eye.

There are several types of Mantras. There are those who have explicit meaning like the ones you have stated. And then there are those which have a more symbolic or implicit meaning like the ones used in certain meditative and dream yoga practices. I have and still do use explicit type mantras before going to sleep as one aspect of my general DILD procedure, not very often in the middle of the day, but I am sure this would be helpful.

On the other hand I have had some experience with the implicit types of mantras as well, I have used some common Buddhist ones in my meditation practice and I have used self imagined ones in my Lucid dream methodology. Using a technique developed by some chaos magicians, I wrote down "I will become Lucid in my dreams" and then removed the repeating letters leaving W B Y S N. I then reconstructed these letters as i felt necessary and added vowels where I saw fit, this is not my personal one but a example. Baa-yaa-nee. I then used a multi sensory imagination procedure to create a lucid dream simulation, using visualisation, tactile sensations, and sound. I then Repeated this personal Mantra during the imaginational process creating a unconscious association and synthesis between the Mantra and the Lucid dream state. I have found this method satisfactory.
