Thread: What happen when you tell your DC or Spirt Character your a dreamer?

Calling all lucids and dreamers. Next time you dream please tell any DC or Spirt Character that you are a dreamer. Please use this exact term as I am doing a bit of research for a fantasy book I am going to write.

I've done this before... didn't use that exact wording though. But I did tell them that "this is a dream." I even went as far as to tell them that they are in MY dream, and they are MINE. Then I dragged them around to do stuff with me and they went along with it. It's become such a habit that to them it seems normal now. When I am lucid, my DCs also tend to be very aware that they are in a dream too, specifically my dream. Sometimes when I want I can be like a God to them and they don't mind, hehe.

Sometimes they just looked at me. At least twice though the people I told about it took some special notice of me because of it; one just kept on working in the graveyard as I spoke and the other was Kurt Cobain who (in that dream) wasn't talking to me until I said I realized I was dreaming.

This kind of feedback is great. Thanks so much guys keep up the good work. As a special treat I will give you a little taste of what I am working on.

Rise of the Protectors

Anyone can dream and when they do most just go to their own personal dream world. However, there are some dreamers who are able to go to a different dream world. One that is created and run by spirts a place only known as Dreamscape. Most would be thrilled with the idea as to be skilled enough to come to this world. Excited to try their skills as a dreamer. Unfortunately, I seem to be the only one who knows the truth of this world. That day I found out just how scary, dangerous, and treacherous this world can be. I can still remember the girls screaming and I being so scared. I just stood there as they tore into her skin and blood dripped down her arm. I awoke out of fear, disgust, and shock. But I swore to myself that day that I would hone my skills as a dreamer and use my abilities to protect others. I and my very close friends worked for years till were finally able to enter each others dreamworlds. After that we trained everyday and now finally we are ready to protect those who can't protect themselves. Today, the Protectors enter Dreamscape.

I once tried to explain lucid dreaming and how to stabilize the dream to a Dream Character who reminded me of Jason Ritter. Then I asked him if he ever had a lucid dream before. It was going well until I began to float in the dream. Then, he got scared and ran off.
Also, I remember that I told one of the Goddesses in a TOTY dream that we were dreaming. I recall that she retorted with, in a voice that sounded like voice actress, Kath Soucie, Maddie, "Of course, you are dreaming Sweetie! Everything on Mount Olympus is like a dream!"

Ha! been there too. I've even was forced once to fight someone who was robbing the bank while I was blind and invisible.

I think it just depends on the person and what your expectations are. For example it in WL, say you told your brother about lucid dreaming and he didn't believe it or thought it was stupid, then in the dream if you told him you were dreaming. He might disagree with you. I think it comes down to your mind and expectations, so it will be different for everyone.

I was talking to my girlfriend on the phone in a Lucid Dream and told her. I teleported to her and it was a dim room. She was laying on a medical table and she mumbled something in Latin at me. (I speak Latin.) I told her I didn't understand and she said it again making me wake up. She seemed angry and the nightmare vibes were growing.

I told someone in my ld that I'm a dreamer n i wish it's not real bcz I wanna do some crazy things like burning you . He laughed n said what do u mean? I showed him how I pushed my finger through my palm. N he was like :/ what? I said never mind u won't understand. N changed the subject.
