Strange experience (not lucid)

Hey there, folks. First post here. I'd like to start off with a very recent story: So yesterday I came back from a festival. Under the festival I had taken 4 substances: Several joints of marijuana, 3-4 average sized lines on amphetamines, ecstacy and alcohol. Today when I came home after a long train journey of constantly disrupted sleep (I did not sleep the last day of the festival because I needed to take the train on time) I took a bath and laid down in bed. At some point I had a dream where I supposedly was smoking a joint with a familiar face in a familiar apartment and got a very intense and vivid feeling of dizziness, sickness, aswell as my vision being blurry and ringing in my ears. I remember thinking "Is this what smoking cannabis feels to other people?". This feeling happens several times through out my semi-lucid dream although I was not doing any more drugs for the rest of the dream. My first thought after waking myself up was that I was entering some sort of phase during sleep that was much more intense than others, like REM, but other than that I dont' have the knowledge to state more than that. What I'm trying to get at; was this my first almost succesful "attempt" at a lucid dream? Throughout this entire experience I could still recall myself lying in my bed dreaming, but also experiencing very intense and vivid dreams but I decided to cancel because I started to feel sick in both my conscious and subconscious state whenever the feeling occured. Sometimes it felt like I was gonna throw up when I got "the feeling" and recall yelling for my mother to grab me a bucket in the dream. Is there anything you'd like to say about this experience? About dreams and sleep at all? I'm looking for general comments and advice so if you feel like I missed some information ask me!

Not sure, man. Were you still under the influence of the drugs? Sounds like when someone is drunk. It could have been mixed with some dreamlets or dreams. Lucid dream is a normal dream during which you realize you are dreaming. Did you have that?

I knew I was sleeping when I was dreaming and I was aware that I was experiencing a dream but I had no control over it whatsoever, as if I did not want to. (Although I know I want to experience a lucid dream since I've never had one and have felt like I've been close to having them before but without luck)

Only to know that you are dreaming while in a dream. Sounds like you had a lucid.

With all that in your system I am not surprised you had weird dreams. Were you actually sick or just imagining it? I think perhaps coming down could have really made you feel ill and the sensations showed up in your dreams. Like when you fall asleep on your arm wrong and dream its stuck under a car or something. Physical discomfort can make for strange dreams, the pain can keep one in a half awake half dreaming state. Amphetamine has a long half life, so if you were exhausted you could fall asleep while it was still working. The downers would wear off faster than the uppers which would explain how you were able to fall asleep. But once they left your system the Amphetamine would be able to take full effect without any counter downers to dull it.

By the time I had come home I was completely sober although very, very tired haha. Of course, I don't doubt the substances I had taken in have left a mark in my body. Although, I want to point out that amphetamines make me calm and focused, and I can actually sleep after the peak of amphetamines fairly easily. I don't get any horrible comedowns from it either. People usually say it's ADD but I doubt that having attention defficiency is the only factor for my body to react that way to the drug. Although it might be, who knows. I won't conclude before I get a proper diagnosis. I did feel slight stomach discomfort before I went to sleep so maybe I got sicker while I was asleep. I also woke up yesterday and now I have a cold, which is somewhat of an annoying coincidence. Don't do drugs, kids!
