Question A couple of questions regarding SP (sleep paralysis)

So I've been reading a couple of threads: Sleep Paralysis Explained, Why you should forget about Sleep Paralysis and Sleep Paralysis Demystified.

So let me tell you about my experience first: my lucid dream had just faded to black. Probably because I was at the end of a REM cycle. However I intentionally didn't move my body as I woke up. My mind was fully awake due to the excitement of just having had a lucid dream.
After just 15-30 seconds of not moving I started feeling strange bodily sensations. I started hearing multiple whispering voices (and I actually heard it loudly, clearly and vividly. It sounded unbelievably REAL!) I also started seeing various lightflashes in different colors. The longer I stayed still, the stronger the sensations became.
It started creeping me out so I tried to abort by trying to move my limbs. It was a bit hard at first, but after like 10 seconds I managed to snap out of it.

Now my first question is, was I transitioning to sleep paralysis? Or was I transitioning to REM atonia? Or NREM sleep? I don't know. Or is there no way to tell for sure?

I already know that you don't need SP in order to WILD.
Now let's say that what I experienced was NOT me transitioning to SP. Is there any way for me to experience SP anyways?
You may call me crazy for deliberately wanting to induce SP, but I've heard that when you are in (actual) sleep paralysis you can have an OOBE by visualizing yourself climbing out of your physical body using an imagined rope or just by rolling out of your physical body.

Some might say I can have an OOBE without SP. But even then, I want to have experienced SP atleast once just to know what it actually feels like. Would this be impossible if I don't naturally experience SP?

      Howzit,

SP is very difficult, if not near impossible to induce, although it can be done..! I'd say you were starting to experience an OBE or AP, but you cut out due to fear..! The first few times you get SP will be scary, even terrifying, but once you know what it is you're dealing with, you can lie through it and remain calm..! Simply tell yourself to breathe calmly and relax, sooner or later you will..!

      Cheers, Nicho..!
